Nick Skelton (photo) is gradually producing his new Mount Aristio, an eight year old AES stallion by the AES approved Arko III, owned by John Hales. Currently they are quite confident at 1.45m level. Which resulted in a third, fifth and eighth place at the Winter Equestrian Festival this week (week 9). Skelton’s other AES approved stallion Big Star (Quick Star), has also been showing at the WEF, but only in the random 1.40m classes. He’s being warmed up for the GCT shows later in the season and of course for the WEG in Normandy. Probably he will even not jump any serious GP in Wellinton.
