AES bred pony by Arko III wins European gold

The individual gold medal at the European Championship for pony riders in Arezzo, Italy, went to Ireland. Suzan Fitzpatrick won after jumping double clear in the very high individual final. Remarkable: Firzpatrick’s  pony Rock Dee Jay has an AES passport and is a descendant from the AES approved stallion Arko III (Argentinus), the former Olympic horse of Nick Skelton. Sharon Quigley is the breeder. Rock Dee Jay is an eleven-year-old pony that has already won numerous of the biggest international pony Grand Prix’s in Europe. First he we ridden by Max O’Reilly Highland from Ireland. Last year he already won the silver at the Europeans under the saddle of Lisa Nooren from the Netherlands.
