The Billy Stud has for some time been known for running excellent young stock auctions of potential international competition horses. This year, the stud added a new Spring Auction to its busy calendar, which proved to be a great success, attracting healthy bids from all over the world. 

Billy Buchannon (Chacoon Blue x Billy Congo) and Billy Be Wise (Billy Congo x Kannan) will now be seen under the Italian flag with the team of Fabrizia Stefani and PaoloPaini. These were the highest priced lots of the auction with the hammer falling at £43,000 and £39,500 respectively. 

Closer to home, established fans of Billy Stud horses were also able so secure some lovely lots, among them Sarah Hancock who added another 3 Billy's to her successful string of horses. She was the winning bidder on Billy Oasis (Tangelo x Cevin Z) £18,000, Billy Foxtrot (Billy Mexico x Billy Congo) £15,500 and Billy Profile (Billy Mexico x Billy Congo) £9,500.
