The AES Elite stallion Caracas (Casall) and Jos Verlooy placed sensationally second in the Global Champions Tour of Mexico City. The Belgian rider of team Antwerp Diamonds perfectly jumped three clears and only Roger-Yves Bost was able to copy that performance. The former European champion, known for his speed, won the GP with a several seconds lead. Verlooy was runner-up. Also last week he and Caracas reached the second round of the GCT in Miami Beach. Caracas and Jos Verlooy only form a combination since last summer. The grey stallion by Casall was born with Desmond Russell and was produced in Denmark. He was acquired for Jos Verlooy by the Copernicus Stables of Family Coulter when they bought Domino.
