In the south of Europe the outdoor season already started. As usual lots of British are searching for less rain in the south this time of the year. In Vilamoura, Portugal, Nicole Pavitt immediately won her first class over there on Victor Blue (My Bjorn), a twelve year old AES gelding, bred by Mr. Kusters from the Netherlands. Mainly in the young horse divisions AES grabbed a lot of great placings. In the Thursday final for six-year-olds Nicole Pavitt placed third on Monsoon (Typhoon S), born at Sandra Pavitt’s. Benjamin Bick from Great-Britain ended up in third in the five-year-old final on Warrior’s Gold (Warrior), a stallion of course born at Brendon Stud. Warrior himself placed second in the GP of Oliva in Spain on Sunday with Jamal Rahimov. Warrior is a Dutch bred but AES approved stallion previously owned by the Brendon Stud. Nicole Pavitt was in fifth with Sandra’s Gemmarco (Unbelievable Darco). Benjamin Bick also was in the top ten on Billy on Ice, a chestnut mare by Billy Congo, owned by Olivia Gent.
