Billy Mexico fifth in GP Vejer de la Frontera

A midweek CSI2* show in Vejer de la Frontera introduced the Sunshine Tour, which starts next Tuesday on the same location. 1400 Horses are expected. Last week was a more quiet warming up week for some of the riders, but in the FEI counting GP, some riders took their chances to stand on top. Pedro Veniss took the victory away from the Belgians Jerome Guery (Falco) and Gregory Wathelet (Carlson). William Funnell and the ultra carful nine-year-old AES stallion Billy Mexico (Cevin Z) placed fifth. Billy Mexico is of course bred by Mr. Barnwell, Pippa and William Funnell. On his other nine-year-old Billy Balou (Cevin Z), Funnell was eighth on Tuesday in the 1.45m.
