Joe Whitaker and Lola V qualify for GP with victory

Joe Whitaker has won the first GP qualifier at CSI2* Wierden, the Netherlands. He rode Lola V clear in the best time, which brought him the victory. Lola V is a home bred mare by Locarno, the former championship’s stallion of Joe’s sister Ellen Whitaker. Lola V is a nine-year-old, previously seen in competition with Joe’s father Steven and his sister Ellen. She placed third three times on the horse last year at HOYS in Birmingham. In the GP on Saturday night in Wierden, Joe and his Lola came in as the fastest four pointer at spot eleven.
