John Whitaker and Argento have won the 1.55m jump-off class before the GCT Final in Doha. In a sensational jump-off with 21 horses, they bet Maikel Van der Vleuten and Daniel Deusser. The class had 270.000 euro of prize money to split. The day before he ended up in sixth place. And we have more victories to mention from last week. In Luik, Gemmarco (Unbelievable Darco) won the Youngster Tour under the saddle of Nicole Pavitt.  In Oliva, Billy Lemon (Cevin Z) and Alice Watson grabbed another 1.40m and in the Algerian city Mostaganem, Blue Movie (Chacco-Blue) was the winner of a 1.45m class under the saddle of Ronan Willis from Australia. Willis also won the Youngster Tour aboard Shark (Arko III).

Great outcome for Great-Britain, the AES studbook and for the Billy Stud in the Grand Prix of Mijas on the Costa del Sol in Spain. After finishing second in the Longines Ranking class on Friday, the British Alice Watson was the best in the Grand Prix aboard Billy Lemon (Cevin Z). Her jump-off time was three seconds faster than the chrono of the Dutch Charlotte Verhagen. William Funnell, again for England, placed third after a hopeful double clear performance of his top stallion Billy Congo . Funnell not only was rider and breeder of this horse, but also the breeder of the winning horse, together with his partner Donal Barnwell of course! Also Jay Buxton jumped off with his AES horse High Offley Arturos CA. He ended up in tenth spot.
