The Anglo European Studbook closes the WBFSH ranks at place six. We are the only studbook with three horses in the top fifteen. We’re talking then about Molly Malone V (Kannan), Blue Angel (Luidam) and Argento (Arko III) , the horses of Bertram Allen, Kent Farrington and John Whitaker. These horses stand at places eleven, twelve and thirteen after a year full of top results and several victories. The breeders of the golden three of AES are Keith Doyle, Vikki Gosling and Keeley Durham. Congratulations to them.

With Molly Malone ( Kannan ), Blue Angel (Luidam) and Argento ( Arko III ), AES delivered the numbers 11, 12 and 13 of the final WBFSH/FEI World Ranking for show jumping horses 2014. Our studbook is number six overall, on just a little distance of the top five. Also Andrea (37), her full brother Vampire (84) and good old Tinka’s Serenade (148) gained points for our studbook. 

Saturday night the BMO Nations Cup of Calgary was won for the second time in history by the home team of Canada. The team was consisted of Eric Lamaze, Ian Millar, the 22 year old Ben Asselin and the Tiffany Foster of team Ziegler. Foster rode her stallion Tripple X III ( Namelus R ), the former Olympic horse of Ben Maher, to five points in total over two 1.60m rounds. The USA placed second and Belgium came in third after one clear round of the AES gelding Dylano (Cento lano) with Pieter Devos. Kent Farrington ( Blue Angel ) won the opening class over 1.50m at Spruce Meadows on Thursday after the exceptional snow was removed from the arena.

At the first day of CSIO Dublin, Kent Farrington won the first 1.50m class aboard Blue Angel (Luidam) . The AES born mare edged out Conor Swail on the stallion Landsdowne and the AES approved stallion Romanov with Bertram Allen. Also another AES registered horse reached the top ten. Then we are talking about Dylano (Cento Lano) with Pieter Devos for Belgium. Also the nine-year-old AES graded stallion Vedet de Muze jumped clean over 1.50m obstacles with Joe Clee for Great-Britain. In the Nations Cup Joe Clee placed second for Great-Britain on his other AES stallion Utamaro d’Ecaussinnes (Diamant de Semilly) after clear and four.

Kent Farrington has been on a roll in Aachen. He won the Prize of Europe and placed second on his speedy Blue Angel (Luidam) Thursday afternoon in de Stawag Preis. Bit later Farrington and team USA placed second again in the Nations Cup, won by Belgium.
